Off-Flavor Tutored Tasting

This one and a half hour online class
begins with discussion of proper tasting technique and then
moves on to discussion and sampling of common off-flavors in
beer and is hosted online by Ray Daniels, founder of the
Cicerone program and president of the Craft Beer Institute.
This class will feature tasting of beer samples spiked with
Acetaldehyde, Diacetyl, Dimethylsulfide, Isoamyl Acetate,
Trans-2-nonenal (oxidation), and Acetic acid/ 2,3
Butanedione. Inquire in the Beer Garden for availability and
further information. The class is limited to 12
participants. $45 covers the class and tasting materials. |
